Soshen Amuntyt (Judy Carter)

Soshen Amuntyt, aka, Judy Carter is the Uab priestess in the Temple of Amun in Rock Hill, SC.  She was born in Greensboro North Carolina. She received her degree from A&T State University in Engineering Physics.  While at A&T, she developed an interest in technology as a method to support herself and her daughters. She worked as an engineer at Rockwell Int. and as a software engineer at IBM.  She continued her work as a Project Manager & contractor for Wells Fargo and Bank America. While working in corporate Amerca, she was engaged in several grass roots and non-profit initiatives in the Charlotte community including starting a Saturday program for children in an economically neglected community in westside Charlotte where she and her partner received recognition by the City of Charlotte for their works. After working for over 30 years in the Information Technology field she retired from Corporate America to pursue her lifelong passion of history and spirituality.  She has written two books.  Her first book, The Jesus Chronicles Old Truths Uncovered is a book that uncovers facts relating to the mythical and historical Christ. Her second book, the Power of Prayer is a book of personal growth and reflections.

Soshen Amuntyt was initiated as a follower over twenty-three years ago into Shetaut Neter (the Hidden Mysteries) under the leadership of Dr. Muata Ashby and Dr. Karen Ashby. She is a member of Hmu (priesthood) of Temple of Shetaut Neter – Aset.
