About Us
The Temple of Amun, located in Rock Hill, SC, is led by Priestess (Uab) Amuntyt, who also serves as part of the Hmu (Unut) clergy for the Sema Institute in Miami, Florida. Our Temple upholds the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) philosophy and spiritual teachings as imparted by the Sema Institute under the guidance of Sebai Maa (Dr. Muata Ashby) and Seba Dja (Dr. Karen Dja Ashby). Comprised of families and individuals from Rock Hill and Charlotte, NC, our community gathers to honor the ancient Egyptian (Kemetic) God Amun, who represents the hidden divinity within us all. We have cultivated a network of like-minded individuals dedicated to following the principles of Shetaut Neter, signifying the Hidden Divinity. Established in Rock Hill for nearly a decade, the Temple of Amun has acquired its own worship space and multiple lots for future development, including a community garden for the congregation to enjoy.
